THE FIRST EVER SALSA DANCE VIDEO FOR KIDS GOES NATIONAL
Big in '09. The children's media company Dance Kids hits January with a splash as they strike a deal with Teacher's Discovery and are featured in Cherry Lane Publishing's January 09 Music Alive! magazine. The children's video Salsa with Me promotes good health, diversity, and features Puerto Rican and Cuban culture launches this spring on-line through Teachersdiscovery.com.
Music Alive! features Salsa with Me as a positive tool from the Latin community that playfully teaches Spanish phrases and the Salsa dance.
The DVD from Dance Kids encourages both children and their parents or guardians to participate together, providing a fun environment for children to learn to become tolerant and accepting of other traditions and ways of life.
"The best way to teach children about the world around them is to provide an activity that is fun as well as educational," said Dance Kids partner Marissa Chrysler. "We think this format will be useful for educators, child care providers, and parents who are looking for interesting and fun ways to positively interact with their children."
